Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The manuscript is your original production and does not duplicate any previously published, including your work.
  • The manuscript was only submitted to Herança, and is not under peer review, in the process of publication, or published in another journal.
  • The files for submission are in Microsoft Word format and do not exceed 2MB.
  • The text follows the style standards (see Template) and bibliographic requirements (APA Standards 6th ed. (preliminary)) described in Guidelines for Authors.
  • The manuscript does not contain abusive, defamatory, libelous, obscene, fraudulent or illegal elements.
  • All authors of the manuscript are identified on the submission platform.
  • The Identification Form was submitted, identifying all the authors, affiliations and contacts. If applicable, indicate the special number to which the article is submitted.
  • ATTENTION: Failure to follow these instructions may be a reason for rejection of the manuscript.
  • I became aware of the existence of publication charges, after acceptance of the article, which I declare to accept..

COPYRIGHT

It is up to the authors of the manuscripts to obtain authorization for publication of material subject to “Copyright”.

 

EDITING RIGHTS

Editing rights belong to Ponteditora.

The editing of a text submitted to Herança for publication implies that it is an original.

Publication implies acceptance of norms for manuscript submission and compliance with duties of the authors.

 

COPYRIGHT STATEMENT

  1. The opinions expressed in the texts submitted to Herança are the responsibility of the authors.
  2. The authors retain the copyright and grant the journal the right to first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License which allows the sharing of the work with acknowledgment of authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  3. The authors undertake to follow the “Guidelines for submission of manuscripts”.
  4. Whenever the text needs to undergo changes, at the suggestion of the Scientific Reviewers and / or the Scientific Council, the authors undertake to accept these suggestions and to introduce them under the conditions requested. Whenever there are changes that the authors disagree with, the respective justifications must be presented, case by case.
  5. The reproduction of material subject to copyright has been authorized in advance.
  6. The texts are original, not published or submitted to other journals.
